A new book: RAIDers of a Lost Art: Reinventing the Art of Business Process Excellence

Einstein once said that everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.  This is true in every aspect of life, but should be most recently applied business.  In the book RAIDers of a Lost Art: Reinventing the Art of Business Process Excellence the author teaches ways to improve business processes.  The trick to improving is to keep in mind that the changes made should, in fact, somehow make doing business simpler.

There is a trick to process improvement.  The person trying to implement the changes needs to keep in mind that simpler is better and, of course, that there is no need to reinvent the wheel.  Just as the wheel continues to turn and spin, so must the key to business process excellence be that whatever processes are used are repeatable processes.  To have to keep creating new processes that can only be used one time or a couple of times would be a complete and utter waste of time.

We have a saying around my house that applies not only to life, but even more so to business.  That which gets measured gets done.  And while I repeat it to myself as I create my daily lists, it’s also meaningful in the life of business.  With that in mind, business processes should be measurable processes.  If they are measured, they will get done.  And there also needs to be a way to see the results.  When we are working online, most of the applications have a tracking system built in so that we can tell for certain the effectiveness of what we are doing.  The same needs to be true for all aspects of business and the business processes that are used.

At the same time, businesses need to keep in mind that the processes used can’t be too rigid.  The flexible processes, ones that can be adapted and used in a variety of situations to work in various settings are those that will endure and stand the test of time.  This is even truer of simple processes, which is the entire point of changing and working with better business processes.  It would be absolutely senseless to create a process that is more complicated and challenging to use.

In order to attain process excellence, the creator or creators need to keep in mind that Einstein quote and achieve a balance in working with a simple process.  With a little practice with business process management, the future of business will work much better.

CB Goliath

Clickbank has been around for years.  It is known for being a great site for merchants looking for a way to sell their products.  They depend upon affiliates who will then help to promote the merchandise for a cut in the profits.  The entire situation is mutually beneficial.

For those who are looking for some products to sell, they are quick to turn to Clickbank, open an affiliate account and get to selling.  The problem is that this process can be time consuming.  It takes time to set up blogs to promote these products.  It then takes additional time to select the products.  Then it takes more time to generate the posts to sell the products.  And finally, it takes even more time to make the site search engine optimized so that people can find it to purchase the products and all that work to come to fruition.

Who can afford to waste that amount of time?  When someone needs to earn money, they need it immediately, not weeks and months from now.  That is where CB Goliath comes in.

Let me begin by saying that I don't impress easily.  I have seen so many products through the years that I have been asked to promote.  And while I can find something nice to say about just about every product, for some it is so much easier.  Over the last three years, I have created numerous blogs.  I have tried selling products from Clickbank.  And I have had zero success.  Of course, I never tried CB Goliath.

With CB Goliath, the process that normally takes so much time and effort is suddenly rendered effortless.  It becomes a seamless process.  The blog can literally be completely set up in minutes, not weeks.  It can take hours, days, even weeks to populate the blog with posts.  Instead, by using CB Goliath, the blog can be up and running and minutes.

There is even a video that explains the entire process, from start to finish, detailing the install and set up process of CB Goliath.  Unlike some plugins that promise to be quick and simple, with the video tutorial, CB Goliath truly is that simple.  And by simply typing in a few keywords, the process of finding the perfect Clickbank products to sell is eliminated completely.  Once the Clickbank affiliate ID has been entered and the keywords have been programmed, the blog is just about set and ready to go.  Think of the income potential available when blogs can be created in in a matter of minutes.  My mind is still reeling from the possibility working with CB Goliath provides.

Insider's Hub

There are many stories about people making large quantities of money online.  We are told that affiliate marketing is one method that people have found success in.  There are others who have found their niche in online marketing.  The problem is that few individuals really know what it takes to become successful online.

After a while of trying, making fruitless attempts, and losing money without making a dime, many wonder what the secret behind it is.  Luckily, the secret can be revealed with using Insider's Hub.  Where else can a budding entrepreneur hope to discover the secrets to online wealth?  This is the newbie's best hope.

By using Insider's Hub, it is possible to learn all the secrets that the experienced online marketer has spent years perfecting without making any further years of trial and error.  See, trial and error can be very costly.  There are few things that people can afford to waste less than time.  It is the one resource that people can't make more of.  And once it is gone, that is it.

Ah, but by using Insider's Hub, all the mystery behind the success of these online marketers finally seems possible.  And to prove how useful the program is, there is free training incorporated right in the landing page.  Just by watching the videos on that page, the viewer is able to gain a better understanding of squeeze pages, what colors work best in the background and how to build trust with the viewer.  When the viewer studies the second video, he or she can learn some of the secrets to converting viewers to sales...including the best fonts to use.  It was the third video that truly had me sold on the benefits of working with Insider's Hub.

The third video explained what I never understood.  How do you get someone to visit the landing page or even read your email, rather than simply dismissing it as spam?  There is a psychology behind sales.  It all boils down to understanding that psychology, the triggers that cause people to take action.  And once that mystery is solved, success is at your finger tips.

By working with Insider's Hub, it is possible to avoid all the mistakes that will discourage you, prevent you from experiencing the success that you deserve.  While one can't truly appreciate success without some failures, there is no need to fall flat on one's face, either.  Insider's Hub is the safety net the budding marketer needs to achieve success.

Sulekha Chennai

Other than Bollywood movies, some ethnic food, and the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaires, not many people know much about India.  It has become, in recent years, a desirable travel destination.  And cities like Chennai are one of the popular locations that attract tourists every year.

The reason that Chennai has become so popular is because it is the fourth largest metropolitan city in India.  It sprung up from the British settlement of Fort Saint George.  And gradually, the city grew and absorbed surrounding towns.  What attracts so many visitors is the way that the city has maintained its Hindu influence while also incorporating the foreign influences of its origins.  Because Chennai is a seaport and so well linked by air, rail, and road, it has become a major trade center.  At the same time, it is way less congested and polluted than the other major metro cities.  With its rich history and varied architecture, Chennai has managed to blend the past with the present and create a city that has much to offer residents and tourists.

For those who are interested in learning more and keeping up with what is going on in Chennai, there is Sulekha Chennai.  There is something about having a one stop place to learn everything about a location.  Sulekha is a website that offers information on every aspect of Indian culture, like the various travel destinations, beauty, fashion, love, relationships, home and living.  It's all there.

Sulekha Chennai is a place where blogs can be found, travel photos can be shared, and information can be discovered.  For those who are considering spending time in Chennai, this should be the first stop.  Go to Sulekha Chennai to decide where you might want to dine.  If you want to blend in and wear something that doesn't scream 'tourist,' look to the site to give you the information you need about fashion and style.  And if you have questions about which hotels are best, where to find a great hotel deal, and how to go about making the travel plans, Sulekha Chennai is the best place for you to stop for all your vacation destination planning needs.

It can be scary traveling to foreign countries.  It is so easy to make a mistake by not knowing the customs, understanding the language, and appreciating the culture, that the savvy traveler knows what steps to take to ensure that the travel will go smoothly.

Pardon me. I burped.

Burping once in a while is completely normal.  Turning burping into a game can be fun for some.  But when the burping turns to a constant often embarrassing issue, it is time for medical attention to be sought out.  Believe it or not, constant burping can be a medical problem, and as such there are treatments available.

While some people simply chalk constant burping up to being a product of diet, there can be a lot more to it than that.  Sometimes constant burping is the product of a food allergy.  By working with a physician, the afflicted individual can discover what foods are triggering the problem and then come up with a new diet that will prevent the constant burping that the individual has been experiencing.  If the food allergies are severe enough, the physician may prescribe an antihistamine as well.

There are other medical causes that have constant burping as a symptom and with proper treatment, could cause the burping to be alleviated.  Acid reflux disorder causes constant burping, but can be remedied with proper treatment.  Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can produce such issues as constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and excessive burping.  Gallbladder disease can easily be confused with IBS because the symptoms are so similar, but the treatment is different.  For someone suffering from gallbladder disease, often the best option is going to be surgical.  While there is no cure or medication that can truly treat IBS, there are some changes that can be made to alleviate the symptoms.  Some people have found relief from ingesting peppermint oils.  Others have discovered that a high fiber diet can be beneficial.

Some medication can cause a burping issue, as well as some nutritional supplements.  In a situation where medications are causing the problem, consulting the physician to see if there are other medications that could be prescribed is one alternative.  And if it is a nutritional supplement is at fault, then it may be time to consider a different supplement or to discontinue use altogether.  Pregnancy can create digestive issues that result in constant burping.  The growing uterus pushes into the abdominal cavity and then slows down the digestion process by the pressure it creates.  Once the baby has been delivered and more space is created, the burping issue resolves itself.

Constant burping can be a frustrating and humiliating experience.  Luckily, with some help from a physician, it is a problem that can be easily resolved so that the person can continue to live a normal life.

Thoughts on New Music 2012

There are many music genres that people listen to and create.  Every year, the lines between the different types get a little more blurred with all the fusion that is taking place and all the crossover artists performing.  That is why it gets so interesting year after year to see the new music that is going to be created in the coming year.

Country music was once thought to be appreciated by only a small portion of the population.  Now, however, it has taken on a more mainstream appeal.  And many country artists are also part of the more mainstream music.  Such artists as Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw have managed to perform songs that can be heard on both country music stations and the top forty stations.

What creates popular music is more about the way the music speaks to others and appeals to the listener more than by its classification.  That’s why new music in 2012 could be an interesting year.  There are so many songs that combine a rapper and a singer performing together to make something special and new.  Think about songs like Eminem’s ‘I Love the Way You Lie’ where he teamed up with Rihanna.  There are entire groups that combine that interesting mix, like The Black Eyed Peas with Will.I.Am and Fergie.  They have had a number of hit songs because they appeal to a wide variety of listeners.

A lot of the new music that we appreciate year after year comes from movie soundtracks.  Movies like Titanic made Celine Dion a star.  In recent years, some singers have actually performed in movies and then recorded the theme song.  Think of Tim McGraw in Flicker.  He then sang the theme song, ‘My Little Girl.’  And even more recently, Miley Cyrus was the lead actress in Nicholas Spark’s The Last Song.  She sang the theme song and rode up the charts.

So there will be great music coming in 2012.  There should be a lot of great sounds coming from a fusion of a variety of genres, like Hip Hop and R&B or Country and Rock.  There will be more great movies with their theme songs that climb the charts.  And there will be new artists emerging, hoping to gain our interest and our business.  New music in 2012 promises to be exciting and engaging and definitely memorable for those of us who are paying attention.

New Songs 2012

There’s something about carrying around a song in your head during the course of the day, finding that one song that you have to belt out in the shower, having a song to share with the one you love.  Yes, money makes the world go round, but music makes it happy.  So is it any wonder that so many of us are looking forward to the new year to see what newsongs arrive in 2012?

I know that when I went through a painful break up, I couldn’t have survived without Pink’s ‘So What.’  It made me feel powerful and strong.  When good things were going on in my life, I had to sing Jason Mraz’s ‘I’m Yours.’  I don’t know why, but it had this happy little beat and it reeked of sunshine and joy.  And who doesn’t understand the complexities of relationships as demonstrated by Kelly Clarkson in the song ‘My Life Would Suck Without You.’  It has this incredibly universal theme.

And that’s the beauty of songs.  There is always some new song coming out that will express better than you can, more eloquently, with the perfect beat…and eventually a video…precisely how you are feeling.  That’s pretty much why I was crying my eyes out the day before my wedding when ‘I Thought I Love You Then,’ by Brad Paisley came on the radio.

Yes, there truly is a song for every occasion.  And I could name all the ones that have mattered to us through the years, from Kenny Chesney’s ‘You Saved Me’ (oh, and I did) to Nickelback’s ‘Rockstar’ to Kid Rock’s ‘All Summer Long.’  We have had hundreds of songs with meaning.  And I’m sure over the years we will have thousands more.  What I’m most interested in, however, is seeing what new and amazing songs will come out in 2012 to get us singing, laughing, and loving again.

Think about those special moments in your life.  Think about how you commemorate them in song.  And just imagine how much fun you have to look forward to with new songs 2012.  You’ll find something that speaks to you and your soul.  And if you don’t find it right away, you have an entire year.  New artists continually pop up and new songs are released all the time.  Whatever you need to elevate your mood will be out there for your enjoyment soon enough.
