New R 'n' B Songs in 2012

When it comes time to find something soulful to listen to, many people turn to R & B.  There’s a reason for this: the complex sounds, the amazing vocals, and the impressive talent keep people listening.  R&B has depth and breadth.  It stretches far and wide.  It has a hold on a strong following.  And there are a number of performers that have made this genre incredibly popular.

Sure, R Kelly has had his share of legal issues.  At the same time, there is no denying that the man is talented.  Not only can he sing, but he also produces.  His latest venture is an album created with Tyrese Gibson.  Yes, that Tyrese Gibson…part model, part actor, part singer.  And according to him, this fifth album is his best yet.  No doubt we can expect to see some of his work on the new R&B songs of 2012. 

There are many more names that just epitomize R&B.  Take Alicia Keyes, for example, who has the most incredible voice and can play piano like nobody’s business.  Talented, energetic and beautiful, Alicia Keyes can put on a concert that will resonate with your soul.  When it comes to other great R&B female voices, we can’t forget Toni Braxton.  She has been busy in the music industry for as long as I can remember.  Not only does she age more gracefully than most women can ever dream of her voice hasn’t deteriorated one bit.  Mary J. Blige also has had a lasting impact on the mR& B music industry.  Among the up and coming R&B singers are Kelly Rowlands who was a member of Destiny’s Child and Christina Millian.  Beyonce has proven that she’s here to stay.  She has churned out hit after hit for years.

Some may have feared that Mariah Carey was going to quietly go into retirement now that she has twins to raise, but after showing off her hot post baby body, there’s a good chance that her next stop will be the recording studio.  Look to her to create something powerful for the new R&B songs of 2012.  Another woman who has worked hard to achieve the body of her dreams is Jennifer Hudson.  She is singing in her commercials and I have no doubt that she will be singing new R&B songs in 2012 on a stage near you.  2012 promises to be another great year in the R&B music industry.  You won’t want to miss it.
