For the past two and half years, I have been a blogger. It started as a hobby, but then grew over a period of time. And we all know that time is precious. So, imagine my frustration when I discovered that all the struggles of the past two and half years could have been avoided completely had I but been aware of 43 Blogging Tutorials.
See, while I am a member of groups like the Yahoo! Mother Board, which is touted as a group of tech savvy blogging mommas, I am not so savvy. In fact, there are those who have practically accused me of being Amish. I know that little about computers and the Internet.
Along comes 43 Blogging Tutorials, a program that promises to take all the guesswork out of blogging with WordPress, which just so happens to be my blogging platform. The best part is that I didn’t have to print anything out. I didn’t have to waste any ink. I didn’t even have to read. Nope. This program offers a 43 video series that teaches the viewer how to blog. It starts from the basics, such as selecting a domain name, and proceeds through the basics of blog creation.
Suddenly, I’m realizing that if I had simply had this program of 43 wordpress blogging tutorials back then, I would be so much farther ahead than I am now. Now, one would think that since I have been blogging for so long, this program would seem irrelevant. Ah, but that is not the case. There are so many things I still haven’t learned. I never installed the SEO pack. I know it’s critical, but it baffled me. And I was a little afraid to mess anything up. And I have yet to work at all with Akismet. It sounds important, but again, fear won out.
The beauty of Aaron’s 43 blogging tutorials is that even after years of doing this, I still have much to learn and he is a really good teacher. He managed to demystify how to blog. He helped me assess which widgets would work best for me. He even gave me ideas for sprucing up the blog altogether.
While I love what I do, I only wish that I had known about 43 Blogging Tutorials sooner. And that’s why when I have friends who ask me about blogging and mention they want to learn how to blog, I send them to Aaron’s site. And when they ask me questions about blog creation, I turn them to the 43 wordpress blogging tutorials site. That one piece of advice has earned me way more praise that any other advice I have yet to offer.
