As another year comes to a close and new one is set to begin, fans are looking forward to meeting the changes of pop culture head on. They are eager for new movies, new books, new television shows, and of course, new music. On the new music front is one of the most complex forms of music front: hip hop.
While some genres struggle to stay fresh and new, hip hop is always fresh and new. There are always new beats, or at the very least, newly recycled beats. And there are always new artists who find that this is their main form of expression. They love the freedoms that performing hip hop has to offer and embrace the friendly rivalries, the new combinations, and the evolution of their genre.
That’s one of the reasons that fans are eager to see who is going to be quickest to put out the latest new hip hop songs of 2012. There are some strong contenders in that department. There are those who said they were retired, but still have so much to say that they keep making music, like Eminem. There are those who love to be controversial and make a stir in the media and in their music, like Kanye West. There are some who have been incredibly successful, not only in putting out their own music, but also in being featured on other people’s tracks, like Ne-yo and Rihanna.
With so much talent out there, it is no wonder that so many people are fans of hip hop. And this year promises to be another stellar year in the field of new hip hop music. Aside from the new artists that keep cropping up and trying to make a name for themselves and find a foothold in the industry, there are those who have true staying power and have learned to evolve with the changing times and changing sounds. LL Cool J is a prime example. He has been in the music industry for more than twenty years, has become a seasoned actor with a television series, and is now releasing more music that promises to become a huge hit, cementing his place on the hip hop charts.
One of the biggest strengths of hip hop is that there is always room for new talent and that the sound continues to evolve. Look forward to another ground breaking year for new hip hop songs in 2012.
