I’m the proud parent of a 17-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy. So one might wonder why I am suddenly frightened at the realization that I’m going to be having a new baby in the spring. Oh, it’s simple. I am so far removed from babies that I hope I can remember which end to diaper. That’s why I have recently started to devour everything I can about pregnancy and child rearing once again.
I used to know this stuff, really I did. Yet, here I go finding myself in unfamiliar territory once more. And what about my husband? Well, this is his first child. He’s excited, but as green as they come. We have seen babies who have been quite adorable in public. We have also seen children getting carried screaming out of stores and restaurants. Guess which child we would like to have?
That’s why I turned to online sources for information. And when I stumbled upon www.mybabychildcare.com, I knew I was on to something. The website offers an e-book about my baby childcare. The best part was, since I couldn’t be sure this is what I was looking for, there was the option to download the first two chapters for free.
I found the chapters from my baby childcare to be easy to read and incredibly educational. I needed the refresher, and my husband simply needed to know…anything. I had forgotten about some of the baby reflexes that I would soon be experiencing. I’m not sure I ever knew why crawling was important. I figured it was no big deal to encourage the baby to skip a step. Neck muscles. Crawling builds neck muscles. Huh.
So, while some would think I’d be all comfortable doing this parenting thing all over again, I have to admit that now…I am. And it’s because I have a wonderful resource like my baby childcare as a companion guide to get me through the first five years. I’m now confident that we will have that happy, well-adjusted, well-behaved child that we long for. And I even feel comfortable traveling with baby. Yes, there are some bonuses for ordering Child and Baby Care: Birth to Age Five. I also received Traveling with Kids: A Modern World Survival Guide and Baby Shower Tips. As a couple constantly on the go, we are confident that we can still have an active life while raising a happy, healthy baby.
